The basics of trainer training

Trainer training is an intensive 3-day program aimed at giving participants the skills and tools needed to become effective professional trainers. The educational program is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of training, from identifying intervention objectives to measuring learner outcomes. Participants will learn how to develop, organize, and structure an intervention plan, master the fundamental rules of efficient communication, and develop their pedagogical skills. They will also learn how to adapt to their audience and capture their attention through the use of effective animation tools. Finally, individual coaching support is available as an optional complementary service to help participants integrate the skills and knowledge acquired into their daily practice.

Effective pedagogy

The pedagogical strategy of trainer training includes four steps: a preliminary interview to determine expectations, areas for improvement, and types of audiences, two days of face-to-face training, individual work between sessions, and a day of face-to-face training with role-playing exercises. Participants will work individually to develop a pedagogical module that targets a specific objective, using methods and animation tools adapted to their audience. They will receive practical advice on how to adapt to their audience and capture their attention. At the end of the training, they will be able to develop effective educational materials and measure learner outcomes. Trainer training is a comprehensive and interactive program that will give participants the skills and confidence needed to become competent professional trainers.

Pedagogical strategy: 4 steps

• Before Training: Preliminary interview and determination of expectations, positioning, areas for improvement, pedagogical objectives, target audience
• 2 days of face-to-face training
• Individual work during intersession
• 1 day of face-to-face training: role-playing situations

Educational objectives:

• Determine intervention objectives as a trainer
• Design a pedagogical module targeting a specific objective to be achieved
• Implement methods and tools for animation adapted to the target audience (Content and Delivery)
• Adapt to the audience, rules for capturing attention in public speaking
